How to install WordPress from Cpanel using Softaculous

After buying hosting and domain and have received your Cpanel login, here is the right time to install WordPress using your cpanel through Softaculous.

Softaculous is a tool in any cPanel account that enables website owner to install any type of script he/she wants like WordPress, Joomla, Magento, etc. in a click of a button.

You can install cpanel yourself even though you don’t have any technical experience. In fact, the steps involved to do that are just five.

Here are the procedures to install WordPress via cpanel using Softaculous:

After logging into your cpanel, then scroll down and click “Softaculous Apps Installer” as shown in the image above.

Now, click Install button below WordPress and follow the steps below to complete your installation.

If you have many domains associated with your panel account, then select the one you which to install WordPress on from the drop-down menu and type in a directory where the installation will be located.

Now, enter your:

Admin Username: the username which you wish to use for WordPress admin account. Please note that your username is unchangeable.

Admin Password: the password which you will also use for WordPress admin account

Admin Email: enter the email address which you will use for WordPress admin account

Select Language: choose the language which you want to install WordPress with. Note that WordPress supports multi languages.

Fill in all the required places and click install button.

Now, you can access your WordPress dashboard using the username and password you provided. Note the link to WordPress Admin dashboard is https://yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php
